The Child of Wisdom And Life

This is the origin of mankind, the history of Adam and Eve.
“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”

The love story of destiny and glory has been revealed by the Spirit of Reality, moving within the hearts of men, who were fashioned in the image of God.
That is, the ability to choose, to create and to love freely.
God has progressively revealed His nature and glory to mankind throughout history, for His purpose, His good will and for the manifestation of His glory.
Jesus Christ being that very glory, purpose, will and very nature of God’s manifestation.

This apostolic doctrine is established by Above Light to declare the truth in purity and uncompromising love.

Just as Abraham sent his servant to find a bride for Isaac and when he found her, began to pin her dress with jewelry and gold, so the Father sent the Spirit to prepare a bride for the Son, and when He found the one who said yes, began to adorn her with the gems of a spiritual life—beckoning her with His love, admiration and overcasting grace.

The Trinity Of

Above Light declares God to be a Triune Being, alongside the proclamation of the early church fathers who were the pillars of the doctrine of the Trinity, being coined by Tertullian of Carthage and later established by others throughout the history of the church, just as the Scriptures has clearly demonstrated the nature of God in revelation through the prophets, apostles, and the Son.
“This economy arranges unity in trinity, regulating three, Father, Son and Spirit three, however, not in unchangeable condition, but in rank; not in substance, but in attitude; not in office, but in appearance; but of one nature and of one reality and of one power, because there is one God from whom these ranks and attitudes and appearances are derived in the name of Father and Son and Holy Spirit.”

The Scriptures expresses God to be a Triune Being —one God in three Persons, inseparable yet distinct.
Each one sharing in the same unity of nature and purpose yet cooperating with one another functionally within creation and the ministry of salvation.
The Scriptures constantly are reaffirming the Trinity, continually expressing the glory and the unity of the Godhead yet distinguishing each person in the role of salvation, reconciliation, and regeneration.
However, more often than not, the Scriptures describe the offices and pertaining roles of each Person in the Godhead in context, that is in function, but occasionally interchanges the works of the Godhead seamlessly, yet in truth, revealing God as a co-eternal, co-equal and co-creator Triune being, one in essence, purpose, nature, and substance. One God, three Persons.

It is so much so, that the Scriptures call the Holy Spirit:
The Spirit of God, the Spirit of Christ, and the Spirit of Jesus.
Even to the point that the resurrection is credited to the whole of the Godhead:
The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Furthermore when Isaiah saw Yahweh, John said it was Jesus that he saw on the throne.
Ultimately it was the power God through the Holy Spirit that gave the revelation and interpretation to Daniel about the Son of Man.

The Scriptures exegete themselves through Spirit-inspired interpretation, for where the interpretation is given, no interpretation is needed.
Thus, the only faithful and Scripturally revealed statement concerning the nature of God is that Yahweh is Triune—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Mainly because worship is due to God Most High alone.
No created or exalted being deserves the worship of God, hence when the discovery of the Trinity within the Scriptures were searched out, the revelation of God established the Trinitarian doctrine.
“You shall have no other gods before Me.”

Therefore, because of the inspired revelation that are in the Scriptures, the only appropriate statement concerning the nature of God, is to say that Yahweh is a Trinity.
A co-eternal, co-equal, and co-creator within His Godhead.
The Unity of The Trinity
The Trinity as The Creator:
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep.
And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.”

The Distinction of The Trinity
One essence, substance and nature, one Lord, three Persons, indistinguishable in divinity and distinguishable in ministering Persons, that is, distinct, one God, three Persons pre-existing before the revelation and manifestation for the salvation of the world.
The Father
The Sovereign King, omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent, possessing perfect knowledge, wisdom and power.
The Architect, The Ancient of days.

And in Your book they all were written,The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.”

The Holy Spirit
The Fire of God, the Wind and Breath of God.
God’s prophetic voice, moving within and through the hearts of man.
God working with man in the midst of his free will.
“There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord.
And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:
for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.”

The Son
The express image of God, the experiential presence of God.
God’s ideas and personality fully manifested in action.
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.”

The Proclamation
“Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.”

Above Light upholds the Doctrine of the Trinity without compromise, handling the Scriptures truthfully and honestly.
Since most doctrines of the church arose from combating heresies, it also necessary to denounce and oppose any form of Modalism that is, one God operating within three mask or modes.

The Son is not the Father, but the Son of the Father.”

Or Unitarianism that is, God is the Most High and Jesus is just an exalted being and not God.

In the same manner it is also wise to let the Scriptures interpret itself since some of the early church father’s writing had to be condemned for being heretical because they over extended the Scriptures beyond it’s own limits and borders. Though sincere and zealous, defending doctrines from heretics, they too fell into heresy being extreme in their positions having some of their writings condemned.
“For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.
According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it.
For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward.
If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

Therefore Above Light upholds the mystery of the gospel boldly, without compromises and without error.
Resisting the temptations of defending unfounded religious traditions for the sake of saving reputations.
For no early church father is infallible, rather their legacy is honored and tested by Scripture as the finial authority.
Cherishing the work of the early church fathers who canonized the Scriptures but ultimately submitting to the authority of the Spirit of Reality, the Holy Spirit who guides us into all truth, even the canonized Scriptures itself.
